Announcing a DC Farmers Market and Several New Vendors in It

Breadcoin Foundation, Ltd. has several new participating vendors in Washington, DC, at the popular and well-organized Park View Farmers Market. They are accepting Breadcoin tokens as payment for food at their stalls in this indoor market.

RavenHook Bakehouse, already a Breadcoin vendor, is now accepting Breadcoins at Park View and at any of their other markets around the city.

Charlie’s Empanadas, a fabulous Argentinian empanada business, accepts Breadcoins at Park View (and for catering orders).

Just AJ’s is a vegan hot dog (“veenie”) business. Packaged for preparing at home, these healthy hot dogs come in creative flavors.

And Number 1 Sons is another new vendor at Park View. Pickles, kombucha, kimchi and other pickled favorites are welcome additions to our vendor offerings. They operate also at Eastern Market where we already have a presence with RavenHook and at multiple markets in the DMV area.

All of these vendors increase the variety of foods folks can choose using Breadcoins, exactly what we had in mind in working towards everyone being fed with the dignity of choice.

Park View is located at 3400 Georgia Avenue, NW, DC in Hook Hall. It operates on Sundays from 10 to 2. Market manager Rebecca Bailey does a fabulous job in  her role hosting and promoting these businesses and in creating a safe and Covid-appropriate environment. The vendors rotate and each week’s list can be seen on  the Park View website. Be sure and check out our vendors’ other markets where Breadcoins are welcome too.

Our Breadcoin team will be on site at the market on April 11. Come by, buy some Breadcoins to share with others at the great vendors there, learn about what we do, experience the market.
