Where We Operate
Within many neighborhoods, nonprofits that are in relationship with people are what we call “distribution partners.”
In the context of ongoing, often holistic relationships, they are able to provide Breadcoins for those they serve to use in meeting food-insecurity or outright hunger needs.
In DC, we are currently operating in seven of eight Wards of the city — Wards 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 2 and 1.
In Baltimore we are downtown on “the block” as well as in the Hollins Market area, with new vendors being added regularly.

Neighborhood teams build relationships with vendors and those caring for folks in the area (whether individuals, nonprofits or congregations), using our food vendors as the hubs around which we organize, knowing that their presence and ethos insure that folks will be fed with dignity.
