Twice each month, neighbors gather around the Shared Table at Commas Food Hall in downtown Silver Spring.
Every vendor at Commas participates in the Breadcoin network, making each gathering an opportunity to support local food businesses while sharing a seat at the table with others from across the community.
Please register for a specific event to attend. Seating is limited to keep the gatherings personal and conversation-centered.

Shared Tables are simple gatherings built around one belief: people need more than food. We need connection, conversation, and places where we feel known. Around a beautifully set table, neighbors share a family-style meal together — no program, no pressure, just space to slow down and be present with one another.
The table is set with intention because dignity matters. Real plates. Real silverware. A white tablecloth. In a time shaped by loneliness and disconnection, Shared Tables create something increasingly rare: genuine human connection.
