Announcing a New DC Vendor: Chef Skip

Breadcoin Foundation, Ltd. announces the addition of Chef Skip (a seafood takeout restaurant on the Howard University campus) to our list of Breadcoin vendors.

This is a business whose website menu caused an audible “Yes, please!” Those fried shrimp po-boys… wow!

Every order comes with a beautiful edible flower and special house sauce.

We are excited to move into Howard, a vibrant community and intellectual center of DC, and we believe the potential for Breadcoin in that community is huge.

Welcome Chef Skip!

Announcing a New DC Vendor: Iacovelli Cafe

Breadcoin Foundation, Ltd. announced a new participating vendor in Washington, DC, accepting Breadcoin tokens as payment for food at their establishment.

Breadcoin is excited to welcome Iacovelli Café, 3651 Georgia Avenue, NW, as our newest vendor in the Park View neighborhood.

Offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, with plentiful Jamaican specialties, Iacovelli has a booming food business in the back of what looks like only a liquor store.

Don’t be fooled. Chef Tambe is turning out food that folks in the neighborhood love and praise. A recent steak, lobster and mashed potato special garnered rave reviews.

Announcing a New DC Vendor: Amen Cafe

Breadcoin Foundation, Ltd. is proud and excited to announce that Amen Cafe has joined our growing list of vendors in DC.

Begun in 2018 by Yerom Gebremichael, who emigrated to the US from Ethiopia, Amen offers breakfast and lunch daily, with Ethiopian and American traditional favorites.

Coffee is, naturally, a specialty, given Ethiopia’s preeminence in that space.

Amen also has fresh juices and smoothies.

You’ll love this fresh, friendly neighborhood cafe.
