Announcing a New DC Vendor: Farmers & Distillers

Breadcoin Foundation, Ltd. announced a new participating vendor in Washington, DC, accepting Breadcoin tokens as payment for food at their establishment.

Breadcoin is excited to welcome Farmers & Distillers, part of the community-minded, farmer-owned restaurant group, Founding Farmers.

Breadcoins are certainly welcome at the restaurant at 600 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, DC for socially-distanced indoor or outdoor dining but also for takeaway at their First Bake counter inside.

As always Breadcoin can be used for food or non-alcoholic beverages, and we advocate tipping generously.

Farmers & Distillers has an active role in working with community partners throughout the city, particularly in Wards 7 and 8, and we are excited about the multiplication effect of the good work they have long been doing, combined with Breadcoin members funding more possibilities. One particular partner Farmers works with is Exodus Treatment Center and its Homework Club, run by Bishop Gary Hill. Breadcoin also partners with this stellar program which uses Breadcoins to feed those they serve.

Purchasing and using Breadcoins oneself at our food vendors is another way to support the network beyond funding Breadcoins that go to nonprofits feeding their clients in the community.

We all deserve choice and good food, and Breadcoin serves as a community coin for all, insuring everyone is fed and treated with dignity and without stigma.

We are proud to welcome this newest partner, Farmers & Distillers.
