D.E.M. Pies, owned and operated by Melvin and Erika Rice, is an exciting new vendor working with us, Breadcoin Foundation, Ltd. announces.
Tweaking a family recipe of Dealine Jones, Erika’s mother, the Rices have perfected a chess pie recipe and also sell lemon, chocolate, apple crumb, pecan and coconut. The pies come in various sizes and can be found at farmers markets in Maryland and DC.
One regular place is the Davidsonville Community Farmers Market where D.E.M. Pies can be found every Friday night from 5 to 9.
The Rices also sell their pies online.
